Travis Barker, for all of you who are saying that he's better than DOM FAMULARO (yeah, caps lock is indeed needed here), can't play 0.00000000000000001 % of what this old guy right there plays. So please, for the love of god, stop saying this kind of nonsense and go learn what true drumming is.

@JoeJacari what are you talking about? Jazz isn't about coping out, it's about expression, and feels. Also Dom is a teacher and does a lot of sessions, not just jazz. Dom is excellent, and doesn't need to spin on a riser to be good.

After Travis Barker, dude's the best! Only Barker is better than this dude. Barker & Barker only! In a few more years, though, this guy might have what it takes. It's close but this guy doesn't fly upside down. Travis flies upside down, does snare drum technique concept work & jams against different styles. Playing just jazz is a cop out a lot of guys take when they can't handle the passion & power of rock and roll. A lot of older guys go through a mid-life crisis thinking they're Buddy Rich!

@OfivetwoekVeeDee I get your point, absolutely, but I think that's a basic law of music - just like pop music being commercially more rewarding than, say, jazz. not because it's artistically more valuable, but rather appealing to a wide range of people. nothing wrong with that. jordison, barker, cobus: they are all talented, energetic drummers whose style impresses young people who like that kind of music. popularity doesn't mirror quality. sorry for ranting :)

@extemist77 a lot..the same with Jordison and Barker...Kindergarten wannabes whos ass is kissed by their idiotic fanboys...Im kinda sick of Cobus..hes not that good and hes considered world class and I have friends in YT who ara miles better and sadly ignored for not being a pricey camera angle prettyboy...Wrong this is theyre sooo overrated, especially that deedlebag
The number of years one has played is pointless. Each drummer is free to express himself however he chooses, and it doesn't mean that every time you sit down to solo that you have to throw EVERYTHING you know into it.
Not all solos have to be structured. Many great ideas can be conceived through creative exploration, which means you don't always have to be strapped down to a groove. Dom has immense enthusiasm and an infectious approach to playing.
