one of my favorite country songs

I know that the pictures and audio are out of sync, its cause windows vista is retarded and isnt good at starting and stopping audio constantly while im editing the video, making it virtually impossible for my to sync the pictures changing with the lyrics. I might re-make this when my Windows 7 upgrade disk comes in.

lyrics:
I hear Mariachi static on my radio
And the tubes they glow in the dark
And I'm there with her in Ensenada
And I'm here in Echo Park

Carmelita hold me tighter
I think I'm sinking down
And I'm all strung out on heroin
On the outskirts of town

Well, I'm sittin' here playing solitaire
With my pearl-handled deck
The county won't give me no more methadone
And they cut off your welfare check

Carmelita hold me tighter
I think I'm sinking down
And I'm all strung out on heroin
On the outskirts of town

Well, I pawned my Smith Corona
And I went to meet my man
He hangs out down on Alvarado Street
By the Pioneer chicken stand

Carmelita hold me tighter
I think I'm sinking down
And I'm all strung out on heroin
On the outskirts of town

Carmelita hold me tighter
I think I'm sinking down
And I'm all strung out on heroin

  • Dope is nasty stuff, don't do it you'll regret it big time very soon.

  • when the hero's in hell , you'd better get ready for pain ! i think linda rondstadt has shared this moving melody , too ... though will have to check it out , eh ! johannes de la tour digne - be well !

  • hate to break it to ya, but windows7 sux just as bad, if not worse.

  • To MeyerLansky78-I also have some strange attraction to this song and I was strung on heroin for 30 yrs. But....that is not why I love this song. i think it's that's it's real life and gritty! But to your question. The only place to go once the scripts stop, is to the streets or to the methodone clinic. Life is not always fair. P.S. I am clean now for 15 yrs.Hugs and good wishes to you.

  • I can't stop listening to this song and I never and have no will to do Heroin. But, it is anthem for those with other addictions like H. i.e. painkillers. I have been there and the withdrawls are torture especially having been in a bad auto accident and have to take them to survive the pain. After the dr's stop writing scripts, what are you supposed to do? Withdrawl or hit the streets. I'll let you all decide what happens next.

  • this is WZ's song and GG could not make a patch on Warrens ass for talent and as a human being i hear you klaark i miss Warren a lot

  • WARREN! why'd you have to die, man!? Gyaaaaaaa

  • @sandynapier healing is possible without god. I'm an atheist and I've been of heroin for about 7 years. Some make-believe man in the sky won't get you clean.

  • gg allin seems it was wrote fer him.great fuckin song .the gg version too.
