  • great cover

  • @shaneh1983

    Thanks!

  • i understand the listed credits on this tune but be advised that this is a gp tune and the original lyric is "ill be in my basement room me and my 80 proof"

  • Never heard that. I knew that Gram hung out with the Stones, Keith in particular, and that he was quite an influence on them, but never heard that this was a Gram Parsons' tune. Where'd you get that info? What's your source? Just curious.

  • cool cover!

  • Thanks much!

  • This is a stones tune ... written and recorded during Let it bleed sessions, but not released till Sticky Fingers. Although Keith has said GP reinvitorated us and injected country into the stones - GP did not write it - and I love GP

  • Hey danopiano,

Check again, bud. Its a Rolling Stones original. Not to take anything away from the great Texas tunesmith, but Townes cant take credit for this one.

  • great song

  • Last time I checked, this was a Townes Van Zandt song. Not bad, though. Tost RULES!!
