Finer With Age: Falls Prevention

It's autumn in Ohio and leaves are beginning to fall. Leaves are supposed to fall; people aren't. This September, the Ohio Departments of Aging and Health, along with the Ohio Older Adult Falls Prevention Coalition are asking all Ohioans to educate themselves on falls and falls prevention. Jeff Zorck, of the Cuyahoga County Dept. of Development, and April Vince, of the Cuyahoga County Board of Health, took Finer With Age on a home assessment visit to demonstrate how you can reduce the risks of falling in your own home.
