This is EXACTLY how the beer store near my house works. But not all of them are like this They have a sort of "menu" of all the different beers on the wall, like at a fast-food place. Heh. Canada.

I love the Beer Store! So many memories of going to this era of Beer Store with my father back in the day. I still love the Beer Store now but these were the days.

$14.70 a case. Gotta love that price.

For those who haven't been to Ontario, these Soviet-style "Beer Stores" are still around. The ALCB wasn't much better. The selection was minimal and for some reason you had buy the beer warm (?). Even today after privatization, the Alberta government regulates all alcohol distribution and, while they allow supermarkets to sell liquor, you have to walk across the parking lot to a separate building. Just in case. God Bless America.
