This is the newest release from opensuse, as you can see it uses the new start menue, i changed back to the kde menue as found it took longer to start a app using the new menue,i also think its more confusing for new users.
MM23DOS: How is Ubuntu more a "linux version of windows" than openSUSE? openSUSE uses a very xp-like installation, it uses one menu bar as default, it uses blue as the default theme, and the gnome menu has been changed to slab which is very windows-like. No offense to openSUSE, I actually dual-boot openSUSE and Vista, but I don't think that openSUSE is looking less like windows than ubuntu.
If you're dual booting ubuntu with windows, i recommend you to remove Ubuntu because Ubuntu is nothing but A linux version of Windows - If you wanna know how, pm me. openSUSE is free and it's great!
I'm new to linux, my first distro was ubuntu 6.06 LTS and when I switched to openSUSE 10.3 I didn't have issues getting used to KDE and kickoff. I love it.

Depends on your needs but I would recommend a switch or dual boot. The installion does it all for you!
Yes it is free.
It can fit on a DVD or CD 32 bit and 64 bit!
