Missing my little pumpkin today,

Leo was so cool. He loved going places like the dog park at the lake, the woods, for drives. He was as patient as they come watching 10 cats, 3 squirrels & various birds "borrow" his cat carrier on their way to new homes or wildlife rescue.

He was patient & kind when a feral cat decided he really would like to live with Leo, for 5 years, & helped him try to be "normal".

The big test though is when I found Bunbun abandoned outside...this brassy little bunny used to love the game of Cowboy Bunny, where he would race around circling Leo, herding him to the door...that would be the exit, of his room. Complete with bucking bronco bunny binkies!

So glad to have had 17 years with the precious soul.

Lovely tribute Iz.

Watched your vid with Leo and Bunbun recently. I thought Bunbun would be doomed but Leo it seems had the patience of a saint.

Aaaww what a wonderful cat being. Such aching loss i know... I still miss Quicksilver, and it's been years. Your friend is beautiful and it's nice seeing the two of you together. I share your sadness, girl.

Cats are the greatest, I have lost 5 over a lifetime. They ar love machines, made for us humans. He is truly with you always. I know this sounds like mumbo jumbo - but it is true. He's there with you.

What a remarkable fellow Leo must have been. THank you for sharing his story with us. Amazing that he was so kindhearted and generous! I have five lovely cats living with me at present, but I do not believe that any of them would co-exist so well with bunnies, squirrels or birds! What a gentle and dear spirit...and what a wonderful friend! Was that you, Izzy! If so, I am not surprised.  I would expect you to be nothing but beautiful. Leo was a beautiful cat, Iz. It's so hard when you lose your animal friends. I lost one of my kitties a few months ago and It's been almost a year ago that my dog Pepper passed away... I still miss them both so much.

I loved seeing the pictures of Leo and all of his friends :) I think you were both lucky to have each other.
