I play with mine in a similiar way you do to with yours...but my cat is way more aggressive :D and so do I :P ; we use the big bed as "ring", and sometimes he challenges me and/or my brother/father together :S seems violent but he knows it's only a game (when we've finished he starts to search for cuddles :D ).
Sorry for boring you anyway, I just love cats.
