@marokokisetter I always thought that, too.

So happy to have lived my teenage years in the '90s. It was like we had the LAST music revolution before the media, I-Tunes, and all this other bullshit completely took over. It was the last time you heard something on the radio or on television, was knocked out by it while you desperately asked "Who is this?", then you went to the RECORD STORE and bought it. Then you played it in your room over and over. What the hell do kids do now?!

from one of my favorite 'tapes' of the 90's!

@pyenapple haha but of course.

@marokokisetter It's called punk or hardcore. ;) And there are maybe one or two more bands that were also influenced by it. Hahaha.

it almost sounds like supergrass was influenced by satan in their song richard iii

Love TF, but to me, they never equaled Bandwagonesque

best scotish band in the 90's

brendan o`hare is a great drummer

How young do they look?!!
It was pretty much the same as it was in the late 80s. 80s garage bands started to become more mainstream and grunge spinned off of it and thus born the 90s. :)
The 90s was the last of good times. Shit is all thats left.

It was great!! 1990-1992, there were so many now-classic albums being released that you couldn't buy them fast enough. "Bandwagonesque"-the album from which this song comes, Matthew Sweet's "Girlfriend", MBV's "Loveless," Jellyfish's "Bellybutton, The Posies' "Dear 23", "Nevermind". I remember thinking that good music wasn't always going to be as easy to get. TF were the "Next Big Thing" at that point, more so than Nirvana.
