Logitech G35 Review. Before you buy these headsets see why I am returning mine for a full refund.

This is my review of the Logitech G35 surround sound gaming headset. At first looking at the logitech website I was very impressed with the impression I got about the quality of these gaming headsets. But they have a massive problem with crackling. Logitech g35 crackling noises are so bad at times its crazy. You know, after spending $199.95 you would think that these are the bee's knees in gaming headsets.

Also there is a high to medium pitched noise that comes out of the right speaker. So I feel totally dissapointed by these headsets.

If you search around google and look for crackling g35 headset you too will see that I'n not the only on having troubles. It wasn't unitl I bought these and had the crackling did I find peoples posts on the internet. Had I read those posts before hand I would not have purchased the Logitech G35 7.1 geadset.

Ohh and by the way I have tried to send an email to logitech but their support page for emails loads up and says "Email Support Is Temporarily Univaliable".

So does anyone know if there is a fix for these headsets? Becasue if they did not crackle or have that whining noise in the speaker they would be superb.

You're actually right despite all these negative comments, I've had the exact same issues with crackling, and some odd high pitched noise, and with the velcro.

I've been speaking to Logitech support, and they're actually looking like they'll send me another G35 as it's a known issue (I've seen this elsewhere online), definitely give them an E-mail through the site! GL

Of course I know I am right, too many tossers here who know better hey. I took mine back to the shop for a full refund. But they did seem like a kick ass set of headsets, I will get another set one day when I can afford too.

@learnhowtoweld Yea get that a lot online, especially here. I was just shocked at how many people act like it's fine. It's definitely a great Headset got mine for £35 so can't complain.

Btw, I'm moving to Australia next year, never been, but I'm dual national. Any tips for living over there? :)

The problem is not with the Headset or the PC, The problem is the USB ports. try plugging it into different ports on your computer until you find one that doesn't crackle.

Shit works.

Also, I would just like to say that the surround sound on these are incredible for games that support 7.1. I can hear something behind me, and put my reticle directly over it after a quick 180. Serious, you know EXACTLY where the noise came from.

I had turtle beaches and this happened to me at the start i know that this is probably NOT the problem. HOWEVER sometimes the crackling/feedback noise is because the actual headphone volume is to high.

For most headphones you should set the Headphones volume on 75% and then use the PC's volume control to alter volume from there on out. I know its not your problem just thought i would help out. PS i got these and i love em! except i cant find the software to change settings >:(

you got connection problem whit the sound tahts not problem of the serie its the one headset you happened to buy so logitech will re-pay you 200 dollars OR send you new pair or the headset that will work. So call them and you will be supriced happily :) ps. i paid 80dollars...
