I KNOW YOU HAVE HEARD THE LATEST NEW ABOUT DESIGNER BABIES. WELL, THIS HAS BEEN HAPPENING IN OTHER COUNTRIES AND SOON TO BE THE NORMAL WAY OF LIFE IN AMERICA.
The question is why is there discrimination to even begin with? Is it part of our nature? Can we learn to overcome it? I fully support genetic engineering, but the discrimination aspect will indeed happen. More to the point, do we not already discriminate between the physically fit and the weak and old? Good looking, healthy, or "normal" people have always been given preferential treatment, and on the other hand, ugly or even deformed people have been denigrated, abused, and ostracized.
