When the Washington, D.C. gun ban decision was handed down by the Supreme Court, Barack Obama said he agreed with the decision. But that contradicted his position during all his years in public office up to that day. His "agreement" was full of "ummms" and "uhhhs" and was obviously a lie, made for political expediency during the campaign. He would have agreed with whatever the decision was, just to make himself "look right."

On a questionnaire in 1996 he was asked if he favored a ban on firearm sales in the USA and he responded "yes." He denies it, saying a "staffer" filled it out, and that "my signature" isn't on the questionnaire. He can deny it because it's a typed response, and true, his signature isn't on it, but his name is as well as handwritten notes in his handwriting. So, he lied. Why would a staffer respond with "me" and "my" and "I" in the responses. When a subordinate fills out such answers, it is documented in the response. Here, there is no such documentation. Barack Obama gave a bald-faced lie to the American public just like Bill Clinton and his famous denial of having sex with Monica Lewinsky.

My point with this video is to show the People the actual text of the 2nd Amendment and it's proper meaning through detailed and logical analysis, to show who is for and against the 2nd Amendment, to show that Barack Obama is lying about his position on the 2nd Amendment, and to offer a warning that Obama and his ultra-Leftist cohorts in Congress really are "after our guns."

Regulation is administrative legislation that constitutes or constrains rights and allocates responsibilities. Well is - thoroughly- is one definition. well regulated means they can decide who will and will not bear arms. People means citizens. or those appointed to represent. We can vote on it.

The police department is a well regulated militia.

--At the time, and thus in proper context, it meant the equivalent of "well supplied and trained."

--A militia is by definition made up of those who are not employed as law enforcement or military.

@NoGuff No where did anyone ever imply that you are allowed to keep weapons to overthrow the government. We are the government in that we elect officials. Egypt was overthrown using prayer, demenstration and rocks. You want to overthrow the government and not be called to act in its defense then run for office. Everybody else is.

Yes, we are our govt in a very meaningful way, and we are separate when it acts against our wishes. Example, the "healthcare" bill. All polls showed the People didn't approve, but they did it anyway. Other prime examples are gun bans & gun registrations. Both the healthcare & gun laws are unconstitutional. And I'm sure you're against the Patriot Act (except when Obama uses it, most likely).

The 2nd Amendment was meant to correct a govt that didn't serve or abide its people.

@NoGuff You would only go to jail. There is no way to overthrow our government with guns. That was way before we had this many weapons and this many police agencies. We can now only have a president for two terms. Our security has been built into the laws. It is only when we turn our backs on injustice that terany prevails. Even after your turning your backs on minorities and police violence we still will not turn our backs on you.Your going to need the criminals then.

@NoGuff a police department is made up of civilians who inforce not military soilders. Etymology-Militia derives from Latin roots: miles /miːles/ : soldier[5]-itia /iːtia/ : a state, activity, quality or condition of being[6][7]militia /mil:iːtia/: Military service[5]

They can and will bearm arms. But that is not their primary job. Their job is to bring people before a court of law. Not to kill them because they are an enemy. We have civilian police and military police.
