Well, if you're unemployed I wouldn't ask you to volunteer to sweep the floor for these girls. Why don't you try to live in the conditions these girls had to before they got an opportunity to improve their lives? Maybe that's what you do - look under hotel beds...

Is it not better to teach these women English? I heard of NGO's that teach Khmer women to work with sewing machines. The jobs earn $3 per day for 10 hours work in REAL "sweatshop"factory.These women make clothes for Tommy Hilfiger,the Gap-companies that make tons of money,while Khmer girls make peanuts. The women will earn much more in the tourist industry even with basic English.

If he wants to help them in the hotel industry tell them to look under the bed when they clean the room.

WOW . I think Cambodia is the NGO capital of the world . Every unemployed back backer is there fighting for a spot to help .
