Look...if there were 506 HOMICIDES in Chicago in 2012, and 47 in JANUARY 2013, then the problem is more than the gun. When the guns go away, then what will we blame? Knives? Rocks? Weaves? The problem is that the Black community needs to become a community in action and not just words. ANY TOWN that has that many BLACK homicides, the people need to come together and take action. This is a problem of no self esteem and self worth. It allows for no one else to have any value.

chicago has some of the most gun laws available and it is still not working. The reason is because criminals will not follow laws. These laws affect only the law abiding citizens not the criminals. Do you really think criminals are going to go the legal route to obtain arms? I don't think so.solution is for black men to take responsibility of their children period. Blck men needs to be there for their family so the children will not have to find father figures in the streets.

Guns have very little to do with the murders that happen in Chicago and in our urban neighborhoods. The real issue is the poverty that breeds the need for someone to become a drug dealer or a gang banger. You get into both of those groups for safety and security because there is no one else showing you another way. I have never seen anyone making $30,000 k a year out on the streets banging. It's not going to happen. We need to focus on our group economics so those choices never have to exist.

But don't get me wrong... I am glad to hear your opinion and I think it's very important we as people talk these type of things through. :-)

I give this crew credit for talking about this issue, and I think it's unfair for you to hate on someone for their opinion. I actually agree with them on this subject, it's the type of guns that are available that's the problem. I agree with you, we should have weapons to protect us from an enemy but why are these automatic weapons being made and distributed? There should be no reason for it if people can understand and respect each other, maybe people can just let things be.

I dont believe in gun control at all. I am in favor of concealed carry or even open carry. The criminals in Chicago and other citys carry guns illegally and are free to attack innocent citizens because they know that the victims are unarmed (because the government made joe citizens give up their arms). Criminal heaven. As a result 506 murders last year, and over 40 more this year already. many innocent unarmed victims are laid to rest, but not the criminals?

they dont know wtf they are talking about, you are giving this crew too much credit. People like this crew are more interested in being celebrities, and making a name for them selves in the black community. This is not the crew for a real conversation of real issues.

I agree black people need to open up their businesses and support each others investments to strengthen their community. So why wouldn't you support this group. I think these guys are doing a great job talking about current issues while keeping it entertaining. They are breaking stereotypes television has worked so hard to build. I'm not black but I support this positive change so why wouldn't you? If you say your race is done, it's because you won't support positive actions.
