Part2 ;-) The out house seems more about making herself feel superior because she's supposed to be. It's validating her culture in the same way a Christian blames a bad choice on some devil. It's like an urban gay man getting a tattoo & dog tags. He's not necessarily doing what he wants or even thinks is best. He's fitting in. He's what he's supposed to be because he wants to be admired in his circle.

Love, love, LOVE this review! I've wondered how racism like this perpetuated itself - from wet nurse or de facto mother, to 'not in my back yard' & much worse. It's almost as if this regard is an expected part of maturing & fitting in, but one doesn't relinquish kids, nutrition, household to someone she truly believes is inferior.

One the real, I adore Mr. Wise. Check out his Facebook page. He's all that. Wish there were more like him because I know what it's like to stand alone. I think he also went to Tulane, which is where I got my master's. Yeah, I cannot say enough about Tim Wise, just sorry that he's a lone voice in a sea of hate. But, he and I both know that many will hear him before me.

@Monoceros7777 Thanks for pointing that out. Please know that I am not THAT crazy, nor are my feet rooted to the ground like a tree. Today I am one place and tomorrow I might be someplace else, and through it all I am still me. Sorry that this was the only comment you could make about the video. Please check out the other videos. I have videos made on several continents, spanning several oceans, rivers and lakes and still I am NOT confused about where I am. This is Hilton Head Island OK!
