The Howard University Choir, conducted by J. Weldon Norris, D.M., performs Hall Johnson's arrangement of the spiritual "Great Day." The soloists are senior classical vocal performance major Jacquima Caulton, soprano, and sophomore classical vocal performance major, Ahmal Warner, tenor. The performance was at Howard University's 140th Opening Convocation on September 28, 2007; the speaker was Barack Obama.

  • @javonnbright This was not even six months before you posted your comment. Sometimes it's easy to miss out on the greatness around us, but rest assured, Howard never stopped sounding like something.

  • KARIMA IS RAW!!!!... oh yeah buddy, that chord at 1:42 is definitely not a V chord; it's a vi chord-an Eb minor chord in the key of Gb.

  • im doing this in my freshmen choir in high school

  • goodness... im looking up versions of this song because we are going to be singing this in my middle school chorus... i have the soprano part... i hate those high G's!!!!! there a pain in my ass!
