These animal hoarding cases are so sad. The hoarders themselves are not intending to be cruel at all, they clearly LOVE their animals, but are also clearly not mentally stable enough to care for them. Sad, sad situation all around.

it's sick to keep that many cats when you can't feed or care for them.

what people don't realize is how fast cats breed. Adopting 20 stray cats and in two years the cats will have quadrupled. I grew up on a farm and once in a while we will get distemper and most of the cats will die off. Three years later our barn is overflowing with cats everywhere.

I had to fight back tears watching this, especially the white cat with her kittens as well as the grey kitten all curled up in that corner (around 4:20)

I was almost served with a seizure warrant once. But the guy kept spasming so I couldn't grab the warrant.

They're all gorgeous cats.
These cats were exceedingly CALM for a hoarding rescue case. I've seen other videos of hoarding cases where the cats were running around like mad, hissing, spitting and scratching at the rescuers. Oddly enough I think they must have been socialized to the point that they would no longer be considered feral. An indication that they weren't quite as horribly neglected as many cats in other hoarding cases. No dead cats found, either. Very unusual case.
