Thanks, michellemb52 for the heads-up regarding this jealous youtube user, but I really don’t want to get involved in any personal feud here. The original intent of my comments was merely to show an appreciation for this witty song for how it artfully transforms naivete into a more profound political satire.

@iamthewalmart Hey iamthewalmart. This guy, catmoondaddy is a nutcase and can be found on several different websites, all posts displaying his pathological jealousy of the writer of "Frosty the Dope Man".

Does Pleasantville Academy (where you work) know about this parody? It would be interesting to find out.

@iamthewalmart ARE YOU KIDDING? Will you please stop promoting yourself as some kid of genius Marc? This song is only clever. The lyrics are infantile, your voice sounds like a quivering, nervous twitter bird. It's about time you realized the real impact of this song on society: Some village is missing an idiot.

Funny song. I remember hearing this on Dr. Demento's radio show.

I recently learned from another website that this song was actually written in protest of government waste (such as, during the Nixon administration, congressional committees were convened to investigate alleged "drug" references in folk songs, children's songs & rock music). This perspective adds a whole new dimension to my appreciation for this song which is worthy of the canon of social satirists and political caricaturists like William Hogarth, James Gillray, Thomas Nast and Honoré Daumier.

I hope this song is etched on his gravestone so people can remember what a total idiot Marc is.
