I saw Ray Ravies (my idol..der) last year... the concert blew me away... but i don't like the guitarist he has... doesn't have anything on Dave (obviously)... although technically he's a good guitarist, he knows nothing about simplicity and chooses the worst tone, sounds like Ray picked him in an Iron Maiden cover band or something.... maybe, as a guitarist, i'm just jealous of him?

Grew up in Woodcliff Lake... saw The Kinks 1980, 81, 83 (Roseland), 84, 87
Will try to see Ray at Town Hall Nov 20. Looking forward to that (!)

Thank you for this. Really good to see "Add it up". Ray's new albums are Super. He still has it. Dave's vid about "Dead end Street" is cool.
