If it was intentional I would consider that to be very unsportsmanlike. If somebody gives you a little shove you don't go for their balls, at least shove them back instead of poking a dude's balls.

i don't think you call avoiding a check "chickening out", i'd call that being smart... and i'd call tootoo not fighting back chickening out since he deserved to be challenged to a fight....
