This is a trance remix of the legendary video game soundtrack in Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. The palace theme is also known as the Hyrule Temple stage music in Super Smash Bros. Brawl / Melee.
This is the start of a Nintendo remix series of mine. Hope you like it. Enjoy listening!

  • This is great! Although it seems like it could be equalized a little more towards the high side, especially at the beginning. There are a lot of instruments crowded together near the low range near the beginning. (Please take this as constructive criticism, not bashing X) )

I LOVE the beat. It's calm, and pounding at the same time. I also like the bass. The bass is really all you need to be in the low range, everything else should be higher in frequency.

Or maybe it's just YT quality.

Haha, thats weird. My people always tell me my tracks need more bass. So I made a remix with a lot of bass... and now it sounds too bassy for some people. I don't get it. xD

I know there is a lot of stuff in the low range area but this was made on purpose.

Plus, YT quality steals some of the high tones.

Unfortunately, in Reason 4 you do not have any display on how good the high and low range are filled with instruments. So I master my stuff just with my ears. ;)

  • @AriesT1 also, what about the mastering suite?

  • @AriesT1 reason 4 eh? awesome. Usually I run into people who use Fl studio. I currently use reason 5.

  • you did the most amazing 8 bit piece justice. props to you sir.

  • amazing, been looking for a good remix of this song.

  • love it ^^

  • @AriesT1 don't worry about it, everyone has different tastes. Stick with what you think is good, ofc still take in comments and criticism though :P never hurts ^_^

  • One of the best melodies from Zelda game, this melody will never die, never get old, always as exciting, always as good... what is it that nowadays so few composers get the idea of gamemusic? gamemusic must be like this. Thanks for the remix, great work. make more, specially Lufia trance remixes, don't forget to check my trance remixes i made :)

  • @nisbahmumtaz909

    True. :)

  • 1:30 to 2:00 is my favorite. I like the occasional drops to the lower notes in this whirly section :)

  • Uhh, just to let you know, Koji Kondo didn't compose this. Akito Nakatsuka did.

But hey, just like Nobuo Uematsu and Kenji Ito, same great company, same great talent.
