I was a young man, walked into the Hollywood Scientology Center (some 30 years ago). Gave a false name & phone number, but crazy enough to give the right address... for years, they sent crap to me. First they had me stare into some lady's eyes, who was staring at me. Then the auditor session for $20 (I believe) suggested donation. Then, to "get clear" suggested donation was $10,000-$15,000 (1974). If I believed, I would find a way. Yeah right! Minimum wage was $2.00/hr.

yeah, everyone's legacy involves some sort of ancestral, religious or ethnic-based connection to human predation,war and genocide. christian churches do not require that you join the ponzi game, hell-- it's not even considered dues or a membership fee.

Never mind that Christians are responsible for thousands of deaths over time with their little crusades and wars in the middle east. Oh, and lets not forget the imperialistic aspect that has caused many to lose lives but not converting to christianity. The issue is not money, but the fact that is preys on the vulnerability of insecure people, which is a common thread through all religions.
