Cheryl! I love that you have such affinity for this music. I am from Venezuela too, and I think this shows us that we humans are much closer than we may think - kind of a human rather than national culture. Your soul is as Venezuelan as mine. :)
Just FYI, although you are right that their main purpose is domestic solo performance, these can indeed be used for actual dancing, but only then would a firm beat be needed.

Whether authentic venezuelan or not, I found your interpretation lovely and excellent with lots of feeling and great phrasing with no loss of rhythm at all. Very charming. Thanks a lot for sharing with us! best wishes, w.

Thankyou Wolfgang. I have to say that I believe I have the mixture of rubato and rhythmic flow and drive perfect in this piece!
I am honestly my biggest critic normally, but I have to say that I am very happy with my interpretation of this piece.

Thanks Patrick. It is a wonderful piece. Its a pity he didn't expand them into a 3 or 4 minute piece!
