R.I.P. Jake German Shepherd Labrador cross Puppy

A tribute vid for our 8 week old puppy Jake a labrador/German shepherd cross who sadly passed away.
We got Jake from a rescue home and within a couple of days started to show symptoms of Parvovirus.
He was taken to the vets as soon as we realised he was ill, he was hospitalized and died 5 days later.

He was given his first set of vaccinations, however the vet believed he was infected prior to the jabs.

We had Jake in our lives for just over a week untill he was taken from us and we still miss him loads.

Rest in peace big dog

PLEASE VACCINATE YOUR DOG AGAINST THIS EVIL DISEASE AND KEEP UP TO DATE WITH YOUR DOG`S BOOSTERS.

Do you realize with your rants you have totally discredited that book?..please don`t preach at me.A simple "sorry for your loss" would have done. people have a choice vaccinate or don`t. If you don`t then thats up to you and I really hope your dog does not catch parvo as it is a horrifying thing to watch a dog suffer from this terrible disease. I understand the pros and cons of vaccinations and I choose to vaccinate my pets, their lives but my choice and I want them to have long healthy ones!

Jake sadly passed away in quarantine at the vets about 1 week after being diagnosed with Parvo.

I'm sorry for your loss. We just suffered the loss of our german shep/black lab puppy earlier this week. She was the runt of the litter and was failing to thrive no matter what they had us try. We gave her all the love and devotion we could in the short time she lived. We still have her healthy sister who is doing wonderful and gets her first shots next week and has already been checked for everything under the sun. I hope healing finds you.
