Wisteria Lane of Desperate Housewives, Universal Studios Hollywood

A visit to Wisteria Lane, the street where Desperate Housewives lives. This street is set at Universal Studios, Hollywood California USA. The houses and street have been used in several other movies and TV productions such as Dragnet, Munsters, Colonial Street and Delta house.

@comomoloful1 Of course! It's a lot of fun and Wisteria Lane is just one of many interesting and fun spots to see during this tour. Once you've paid the entrance fee to Universal Studios you can take this ride for as many times as you want as well. It's just a matter of how many times you want to stay in the line, or if you're lucky enough to get here in the right time.

Inside Universal there's also many other things to do of course, rides to enjoy etc.

LimeWaveVideo I have a question, if I go to visit the set i can not walk through the set, right?, and I know that the house sets that are on the street are acutally empty but can I see the houses inside in the studio?

@comomoloful1 Under normal circumstances you're not allowed to step out of the tram on this street. I've seen photos of people posing outside some of the houses but I think that are special occasions.

Unfortunately I don't think they let people in the house sets either. Would be great fun though :-)

@comomoloful1 We tried to visit the set of Friends when that show was still on. They were reconstructing at the moment so we weren't allowed to go there. But a couple of years after they finished filming we got to visit "Central Perk" and got to sit in the sofa :-)

@TheJuliewood What a dissapointment. It was the same for us the first time we were then and was hoping to see the Friends set, but then they were reconstructing the set. Next time we were there the show had ended but we could see the furniture and sit in the sofa :)

Great fun to see the DH street. Every time you watch the show it's like "I've been there" ;-)

@LimeWaveVideo Really? when i went this summer they were shooting...inside that is but they were shooting an episode or a promo i think, but i saw Eva Longoria and Terry Hatcher but we were to calm down and stay in the tram.
