Hey dude, I feel you. Growing up in a quasi-disfunctional Asian family frustrated me to no end, with a whole different set of issue than you are going through probably....
When I turned 21 I was out. 10 years of a little distance really did some good, now I at least get some respect, and they talk to me like an equal, instead of talking down all the time. I put them in their places too, in a supportive way, if that makes any sense.

Donovon, it sounds like your family is essentially putting their fingers in their ears and saying "lalala" over and over again. To put it more plainly, in denial. Since you are so angry and hurt by this the only real way of addressing the problem is confronting them about your feelings (NOT with anger, take the high road and use reason). Maybe your not ready, but if not now, when? Time with loved ones is short and precious. Don't wait until it's too late.
