@sparksfly44 To be fair the people are 9's network stars at the time - whilst Nine has had plenty of stars from a non-anglo saxon background, I can't think of a single one that isn't white. In fact over all 3 of the commercial networks I can only think of Ernie Dingo (7's great outdoors).

memories! I was 4 back then, and it's only now I notice there's only white people in ch 9's representation of australia in 1996. But back then I loved this montage - it inspired my love for Australia and it's beautiful landscapes as my adopted home.
