Drummer Gavin Harrison boasts an impressive resume. Known primarily for his playing with prog masters Porcupine Tree, Harrison has lent his astonishing skills to a diverse list of artists including Iggy Pop and Lisa Stansfield. Since 2008, he has also been a member of original prog rock group, King Krimson. In addition, Gavin Harrison's instructional books Rhythmic Designs, Rhythmic Illusions and Rhythmic Perspectives, as well as his DVDs Rhythmic Horizons and Rhythmic Visions have been hailed as essential material on complex poly-rhythms and creative drumming.

  • what a custom crash is that he is using on his left?

  • @afheadra I couldn't keep it up haha. A mate introduced me to Gavin, and i remember seeing how ridiculously good he was and thinking to myself "these fans would be great to troll"... I figured i would mention Jordison and a couple of the shit songs and people would just attack me... haha, everyone was all sensible, and probably thought i was a little 'special'.. I will stick to telling cannibal corpse fans that hardcore bands are more brutal. :D

  • @ericandtegan at least you're only trolling xD

  • Dude this guys gives me goose bumps just listening to him

  • @BrunelliEnrico88 You should be...he can swing, quite well at that.

  • He can't swing at all. I'm not joking.

  • Can't wait to hear Gavin with the Buddy Rich Big Band in April!!

  • @ericandtegan, hahah, ok. :) I thought I had read your first comment, but maybe I just found the wrong one. Joke was probably on me for not realizing you were trolling (great work there). :)

  • @Bearthoughts haha, i was hoping you would go back and read my original post. I posted the Joey thing for a laugh because every incredible drummer on youtube has some douche comparing them to Joey, Travis Barker or Lars. The first comment was all sensible, much like yours and my trolling backfired. Joke was on me hey! In all seriousness, Although I'm not a drummer myself, I find Gavin a ridiculously talented drummer.
