A sculpture I made for a class where everyone had to use fallen trees as a material. I have been using magnets in my work and decided to play sounds of nature through the wood by making my own speakers. The speakers "inject" the sound into the wood through the screws and are build with magnets, copper wire, and bits of barch. The form of the tangled wire projects a living organism that grew onto the branch and plays the experiences the tree had before its final destruction. See more at www.nelsonbruns.com
