Woon Feeding Black Swans

I think feeding water birds are fun activities. My friend, Woon, and I were in Perth recently and bought a huge loaf of bread for the purpose of feeding the birds. Strangely, while there were no black swans to be found in Swan River, we found a pair at a lone lake.

I think in the interest of Haut Cuisine, that the bread ought to be soaked in Sake or Red Wine.

This will make an interesting affect to the long slender neck of the Black Swan and will advance the reputation of all Australians in the mind of the entire foreign world, that being that, Australians like to be rather merry all the time.

Hand feeding black swans doesn't hurt your fingers as they don't have the power in their bills to hurt, even the most aggro, belligerent swans trying to bite fingers don't hurt. Although if you are feeding two dozen or more! rawness ,blistering and callouses appear on the knuckles closest to the finger nails.

But watch out for the wings!!!! They are not overly powerful but with the speed at which they can snap out, re: (double the speed quadruple the force) they can do some damage.
