This is one of the best songs sung by Lata ji under music direction of Madan Mohanji . It is unfortunate that good recording of this is not available . I request all the music lovers to make efforts to locate & post best recording of this melodious song.

Knowing the facts as I do here they are regarding this song: Filmed on a 78rpm disc wth Lata's pic nailed to a tree given the name "Leela Mukherjee", Om Prakash is shown going berserk. This song was sung on Doordarshan (much later) by Lata herself (probably in 1976). It was hacked out rather brutally out of the film some time around 1983. When the film was shown as part of the election results in 1984 it had been hacked off. Great song. Great pity.
