The Vasa, 17th Century Warship in Sweden Sinks on it's maiden voyage. In the 1960's it is raised from the waters off of Stockholm and now resides in a Museum built especially for it in Stockholm, Sweden. I visited it in 2002.

I visited it in 1972. Obviously, a lot of work was done since then.
