Light a Light - Amanda (cover)

One of many beautiful songs written by Janis Ian. I went to her concert in Amsterdam this week and was more than amazed by her talent. After the concert I got the chance to meet her and it was at that special moment that she gave me the bracelet she wore during the show (the yellow one I'm wearing here). Since I've been a big fan of her for a pretty long time now, this was a moment I'll never forget. I hope you'll enjoy this video!

Very much, I was in Zaandam and Haarlem too. Nice to see there are also lots of young people of today who love Janis' music and lyrics.

Nou ja, op z'n Nederlands kan het dus ook, kunnen sommigen het niet meelezen. Ik hoop dat ze nog eens komt binnen niet al te lange tijd!

Hier en daar, ze doet dit keer wel veel hetzelfde, maar soms heeft ze er iets moois bij, zoals in Amsterdam dus met Stars aan het slot, dat was in de andere niet. En in Haarlem had ze een mooi verhaal over wat ze zelf ervaart tijdens het optreden: "thanks for letting me fly". Dat vond ik heel mooi.
