A video panorama of Austria's capital, Vienna. Shot from the revolving restaurant in the Donau Tower. This video has been sped up, the actual time for a full rotation of the restaurant is approximately 26 minutes. Music is the Blue Danube Waltz written by Johann Strauss Jr.

I'm going to Vienna for my first time ever this summer. Could anyone recommend some sights or other things I should experience whilst there? ;)

Most of the sights are within walking distance around the centre of the city. Try & get a Vienna Card which gives you free travel on all public transport & cheaper entry fees into museums. Check out Wein dotinfo for more info on the sights.

Me too! 7 weeks there was great, mainly because of my wifes family over there. I certainly don't miss the smoking in shops & resturants now I'm back in Australia. The food is so yummy in Austria but all those smokers spoil the eating experience.

I have been in Vienna 3 times. I m looking for my Iranian friend David. I met him in Vienna in 1989. Since 1989 he lives in USA. I would like very much to find him.

I hope you went to or should go to see Schonbrunn Palace or see the Danuaturm, just being their makes you want to stay forever. I was their in Feb 2009.
