Why don't you research how much yearly profit the insurance industry is going to gain from the roughly 45 million (low estimate, 125 million high estimate) new health insurance policies mandated by Obama's health care game plan? Ins cos need more competition so they can get away with less. Now, they are in bed with regulators. Giving the govt more power just makes them more in bed with ins cos.

Monopoly is even worse, and that is what you have with single payer. Then there would be no place to turn, no alternative at all. Things would be even worse.

no one dies for lack of health insurance. Show us where some one died from lack of insurance. If you are over 62 and a half you get put on medicare and if you are younger and fall below a income level then you dont pay. Show us otherwise.
