Foo Fighters - Everlong Drum Cover (Rock Band 2 Expert Drum Chart) on real drums

Everlong by Foo Fighters.

First: No comments about my big bald head! I'm already well aware of it :-P

Video number 4 in the "real drums over Rock Band chart" series, finally, is Everlong!

I recorded the Expert note chart from Rock Band 2 while in Practice mode, and extracted the audio. Then I mixed the audio from my drumming vid with the Practice Mode vid and overlayed the note chart.

You'll probably notice that I don't stick exactly to the chart...I exercised some creative liberty at certain points.




I'm playing these on my Pearl Session Studio SBX drum set with all Sabian cymbals (except that little Zilbel that I didn't hit in this vid).

You hi hat is how you want it to be which is wrong for this song, in my opinion. Of course in a cover you're free to change things and put a bit of yourself into it, but you're playing along to a drum chart

@DisposableHeroes0 I'm playing a drum cover. I'm playing it how I want to play it. I'm not trying to make it sound exactly like the album. Therefore, by definition, it cannot be "wrong".

Good cover. The mic job wasn't great, but getting that right is a LOT harder than people think. I don't give a shit one way or another about the hi-hat; you're the drummer, do whatever you want.
