  • did you do it yourself?

    with a spray? or roller?

i want to sound deaden my floor. and this would basically do same thing.

id keep the carpet in at the end. but yea. you like? notice difference?

  • @redbulljoker I had it sprayed in by line-x.. I decided against the herci liner. Its thick but it is a bit louder than it was with the carpet. I like it quite a bit. I like that I can spray it out as I hunt and fish quite a bit.

  • How long did it take you to prep the interior (remove everything)? I am considering either line-x or a QuietCar lining for sound.

  • One day I removed the carpet which doesn't take that long if you remove the seats first. Then next day I removed everything else (Leaving the driver's seatbelt still attached.) and taped up what I could. I also could not get my center console out. When I got it back I needed to drill some holes open because they plug them with earplugs before they spray. It's almost been 2 years now and other then the dirt it still looks the same.

  • If your goal is quite you may want to go with the other option you are refering to.

The line-x is as quite as the carpet.

  • were did you get the floor matts from??

  • Believe it or not they are Mopar. I got them from the jeep dealership when I bought my JK. Thats really the only thing made by Mopar that I really liked.

  • Looks good. Smart thing to do. If I had a Jeep that is one of the first things I'd do to it, plus I'd like about doing the bottom of the jeep also and any place that could rust. I had a car that I had a Z-bart treatment for rust prevention. Eveyone elses car rusted out. Mine fell apart mechanically, and I wish I still had it because the mechanicals are easy. Keeping the body nice is more important.

  • 0:30 - that stuff is a sound dampener, not a heat shield. Personally I would have removed it first.

  • pink floyd? lol nice

  • Why didn't you pull the rollcage?? Even on the new ones they get rust under the legs.

  • @sirwillis001 I am paying 1000.00 for mine and they have had it for over a week now. When the rollcage was pulled there was two rust holes so had to send it to another shop to weld in new panels. I should hopefully have it back Monday evening.

  • how much was it to line x inside?
