  • I really dont see what difference it makes. WE are all still human beings. what does our gender have to do with living life??

  • I wish I could like this video a thousand times. Brandon you said it the way it is. People listen and learn.

  • i like what one of my favorite anime voice actors Monica Rial says about that. she says, "you never know someone is gay until you fuck them"

  • Gender Expression is different from sexual orientation. It's like saying blond hair and lack of intelligence go hand in hand. Thanks for addressing ^.^

  • Here here!

  • Being gay is either 1) Happy. 2) Liking the same sex (more for males; try lesbian for females). Now being flamboyant is more the appropriate word I want to say. You act more feminine than masculant. But denial of being gay happens often. He might want to be honest with himself, it only damages himself more than anyone else.

  • Yeah I would say that that is the definition But in old scots language gay means happy

  • @TheFanwindow

I thought gender identification meant which gender a person identifies *as* rather than *with.* It is better understood than in the past that anatomy sometimes plays a smaller role in gender identification than thought.

I agree about the cultural tendency of associating feminine males with homosexuality. I also think it's all much more complex than most would care to admit or figure out. So many factors involved in behavior.

  • @infideluxe Of course, I could be getting my terms all mixed up.

  • @infideluxe Gender identification, at least from what I understand it to be, is about what traits, feminine or masculine, a person identifies with.

I agree that behavior is determined by culture and not sexual orientation. My point was "I feel like there is a very strong cultural tendency to associate feminine males with homosexuality," and that we need to recognize where that comes from. It is a cultural phenomenon, and we are all affected by it regardless if it's a true belief.
