'Jan Gossaert's Renaissance' (23 February -- 30 May 2011) is the first exhibition dedicated to the artist for over 40 years, presenting a unique opportunity to reassess his work.
Jan Gossaert, a native of Flanders (active 1503; died 1532), was one of the most startling and accomplished artists of the Northern Renaissance. He is credited as being among the first to bring antique and Italian-inspired art to the Low Countries.
