Match the hatch! Best bait is natural forage, thats how I fish myself here in western NY. We catch emerald shiners out of Lake Ontario and the fish go ape for them. If I could get some alewifes I could kill it on the finger lakes. Do you know anything about their behavior?

I have been fishing in Port, been bad in the last few weeks. . . didnt know i could net these little bastards, b/c sabiki's dont always work
