This is my chow chow Max.
He was born on August 19, 2009 he is the sweetest little thing.
He's not going to be so small for so long...He grows so quickly though, I have to get him a new cage because he is out growing this one (mind you he only sleeps in the cage at night, the cage is his home for now until he is fully trained , his cage is his bed and he considers it a safe place)

  • Nah not really. If you have kids, they'll usually be good around kids. If you don't, and they aren't used to children, they might be uneasy around them. Chows are very stubborn and training can be quite difficult, I prefer exposing them to different dog and kids while they are playful puppies so they'll get used to them, rather than just trying to train him to "sit" or "stay."

  • SO cute!!!!!!! It looks like a stuff toy

  • @lefter31 they're like cats, if u dont train then while they're still puppies i believe they get agressive

  • lol??!! my chow chows name is also max XD

  • any tips on training. So far my 3month old chow sits on command sometimes. He follows me everywhere. lol

  • does a chow2x get agressive?? i wanna this b4 i even wanna buy 1 lol

  • be careful .. bear cubs grow up

  • Wow he looks like my chow Nala...She's just as cute but she's really laaaaaaaaazy!!

  • Part 4 SORRY I won't talk anymore youtube won't let me post this comment gah!!

The price depends on where you are for example in Texas chows are very popular so chows and they are everywhere so the price would be lower than in a place that they aren't popular! I live in NY so it took me a long time to find a breeder that had papers. The breeder i found basically breeds chows for a living so we bartered.

  • Part 3 Chows are born, raised and bred to be guard dogs so they are very family oriented. Socializing isn't easy for a chow depending on your dogs personality there could be a bite here or there or nothing at all. Plus chows don't need as much exercise as other dogs do. An average of exercise they have a day is about 30 mins to an hour! my family we walk for like 3 hours a day our chow gets so tired from walking he plops on the floor and naps.
