Camping on your own and in the wild in Africa is an experience of a life time!
I have done it in Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia and this video is from a recent camping trip to Serengeti in Tanzania.
At dusk Africa's large cats are getting ready for the hunt and you hear hyena's howl and lions roar. The Wildebeests are shaking with fear and gathering in tight formations to try to defend themselves.
You are in the middle of it - with only a camp fire with burning acacia wood - to keep hyena, leopard, serval, lion and cheetah away.
This is Africa - watch the video and enjoy the sights and sounds of such a night of camping in Africa - only the smell I can't give you.

Keep the fire going at night and leave no food out and you are in good shape, but make no mistakes here!
