Jed Stugart is named the 20th head coach in University of Sioux Falls football program history. A testament to the success and stability of the program, Stugart is only the third head coach in the last 27 years. He follows Bob Young, who won one national championship, and Kalen DeBoer, who won three national championships since 2005 (DeBoer left for the University of Southern Illinois Feb. 5). Stugart was introduced by USF President Mark Benedetto (on Stugart's right) and USF Athletic Director Willie Sanchez (on Stugart's left). Stugart coached at NCAA Division I University of Nevada-Las Vegas last season.
