Leyden Students Jazz Orchestra (LSJG) 1989 Stormy Weather

Leidsch Studenten Jazz Gezelschap. From 1984 till 1991 (when the last student graduated) the University of Leyden (Netherlands) had a classic jazz orchestra which played tunes from Ellington, Bix, Whiteman and McKinney's Cotton Pickers. The tune is especially arranged for the band by Peter Stöve.
Line up is: Frank Wouters tpt, Bram Strijbis tpt, Adriaan Jaeggi tbn/leader/voc, Pieter Andringa clar/as/voc , John Jackson clar/ts, Jan Wouter Alt clar/as/voc, Matthijs Willering bjo/gtr, Hans Oltoff pno, Frans Bouwmeester bass and Henk Robbers dms.
This concert is recorded live at the Jazzclub Zoetermeer june 3th 1989.
Unfortunately Adriaan Jaeggi passed away juni 2008, only 45 years old.
