@deadlover73 I wouldn't take their word for it. There are simple methods to test for DC coupling. If it is, you'll be able to use the synced LFOs, step sequencers and send ramp automation, but it is unlikely the inputs will calibrate, so a 1v/oct pitch control isn't going to happen.
@deadlover73 Volta needs a DC coupled audio interface, which the 003 is not. Also, there is currently no RTAS variant of Volta, so you would not to run Volta inside pro tools anyway.
@conway661 they are completely different pieces of equipment. Your digi 003 is an audio interface. Are you asking if the mcu works well with protools?
You know what it is....these folks who cry this only have so much money so they want one device to be everything! I for one want a controler to be just that a controler the only hybrid i will use is the AWS 900
or the Fusion by Euphonics.
ON the low end I use a Classic Mackie Hui that works well and offers a real meter bridge and scribble strips

would i still need to make the special cables if its dc coupled?
dont plan on using it w protools just dont have another interface
