Digital Climate Control Conversion into an 89 Nissan 240sx S13 Chassis! 3rd video covers: In-Cabin air temp sensor, Ambient Outdoor temp sensor, and mounting the HAVAC motor and "calibrating" it to perform the full range without any issues.

It didnt process the final 50 seconds of audio... But basically what I said was, pull the swing arm all the way into the hot position, snap it into the white plastic piece on the havac motor while the temp is set to 32C full hot!

Then, snap the white piece shut, preventing the arm to come out.

Then, unsnap the rod from the yellow piece on the swing arm. After you unsnap it, lift it out.. it will move to full cold.

Change the temp on the dcc to 18C - which is full cold on the havac motor.
When its in full cold (with the rod attached to this part) if you did the hot calibration properly, the rod should basically lift, and fall into place on the yellow connector on the swing arm. Snap the yellow piece back on the arm, and you are done!

  • Hey so I got the ac to work turns out it's cuz it wasn't calibrated. But, I can't control the fan speed it's only on high. Is yours the same way if not how'd youget that to work?

  • @xanu8isx Did you install the Blower resistor that screws in with 2 screws into the air box under the dash? If that piece is from non digital it could make it only blow full speed, or if the one you have is bad it can also do the same thing.

  • Hey did you get your ac to work with your dcc?

  • @xanu8isx As long as you wired everything up per the instructions everything should be fine! Did you do an engine swap? If you did, make sure the (I think) green wire under the dash is hooked into the new wiring harness!

  • how did u get in to the diagnostic mode on the control unit?

  • @xanu8isx Sorry for the late reply, but you hold the off or auto button for at least 5 seconds, within the first few seconds that you turn your key to the on position.

  • @Acecool you said splice it into the jdm sub harness but you weren't specific on which colored wires. Could you please specify? Thank you

  • Nice video.knowledge! Haha. Thanks

  • Quick question. Where does the aspirator hose come in to all of this? I noticed you had it in the first video, but didn't see it in the other two.

  • @masterzipper Light Green/Yellow is the positive wire, Solid Light Green is the negative wire for the outside ambient temperature sensor.

In Cabin Air Temp Sensor is: Brown is positive, Light Green is negative.
