  • Leg lock are amazing. Hardly anyone can fight with thier ankle broken (or knee) I would prefer them over armlocks any day. Plus holding a leg to me is alot easier than holding an arm. I've seen people man up to a broken arm but a leg you can even walk away let alone run away.

  • Isn't it funny that youtubers are always questioning techniques from guys like Erik freaking Paulson? I wonder if any of them would do so to his face...

  • Keybord ninjas really need to understand that no move is 100% sure of success, so even if you know a counter move to some technique doesn't mean that the technique is shit. Every move has a counter move and every counter move has a counter move...

  • @yarpenzirgin81 in practice you are taught to do ankle locks nice and slow so that you don't hurt your partner if you apply any ankle lock as you would in a reall street fight or full speed it is just like doing an armbar that joint will snap real fast. again if you apply them full speed the defense is real hard to do and the ankle will snap. and if you do the technique properly it is suppose to prevent from the punch aspect

  • Erik is the man.

  • he can realy do things like that in real figths because he haves a very fast mind

  • I've just started practicing some locks and have some questions on ankle lock. During training I've noticed two things, first it is very hard to go with successfull ankle lock. It requires a lot of work. Am I doing something wrong, or its just lack of practice? Second, even with successful ankle lock its very easy to defend against it with heel kick on face or pulling opponent and then punching. Again, is there some way to prevent heel kicking and pull+punch when I'm doing ankle lock?

  • STEP OVER THE ASS!!!!

  • 0:31 looks kind of kinky.

    Reminds me of BJJ

  • Turn his head...step over the ass.....LOL!!

  • Ankle locks are cheap, but if everyone at a gym agrees on this and wont train them and just leave their legs out trying to catch guard and work sweeps all the while they arent learning how to properly defend against them.
