It has everything stored on a MicroSD card next to the batteries. As for language support: it seems that it only supports English right now, but the OpenMoko folks are encouraging people to add other languages if they want.

Hello!
Does WikiReader has pre-downloaded data-base? or connects to wikipedia thru mobile GSM,GPRS,3G or Wifi?
And what with wiki translations? I mean Can i Use my wikipedia in my language on wikireader?
