@MrLinuxkid no it is not. Although we used many placeholder sound effects and in fact it may sound like what you said due to these placeholders. If someone has a true looped recording of the Douglas Skyhawk jet engine (startup, idle, cruise) and wish to send to us, we'd be glad. :)

vos podés ver lo que más te guste, pero investigá un poco por internet que esta toda la historia con fotos de como lo desarrollaron y vas a ver que estas profundametne equivocado.

lo que vos decis se llama mod, y esto no es un mod, es un desarrollo desde cero donde se ha invertido muchas horas de esfuerzo y laburo en programación diseño 3D. El esfuerzo se respeta asi que te invito a que cierres el pico y aprendas de estos tipos que son muy talentosos y enérgicos.

Anyway the instruments under the HUD don't seem to be real instruments, but just fixed paste images.
When does this game come out? Cuando sale ese juego?

The instruments are for real, they work. You can fly an entire mission relying only on them (night flight, etc). The old version of the Douglas Skyhawk featured here has no HUD, thats a plain reflector gunsight like in the F-86 Sabre of the 50's.
Game probably out in 2009, with a demo in late 2008, but I can't garantee, real-life comes in the way too much recently.
