This is of all time my favorite movie! I have never cried in a movie, till this scene where the little girl runs up to her and gives her a hug! Every time I watch that moment in the movie I cry!

@alev4alwys0627 Actually the real version is Tim Buckleys. Pat Boone also covered it around 1969, way before I was born. I do like this version by This Mortal Coil because Elizabeth Frasers voice on this is beautiful. Its seers through me.

that scene makes me shiver..I've also read the book....but I haven't been able to finished because I found it so intense...and so deeply sad...the movie, instead, I've watched it many times...and I love it...I think it's one of the best movies they've made up in the last ten years..

@jonjonzavala1995 same! it's such a powerful, tragic and optimistic scene all at the same time. just looking at the young girls made me think of what could have been... and the pain they suffered... and the fact they no longer have to go through any pain... gosh its just so emotional!

Never seen it, but about half the reviews on IMBD give it 10 stars, and half 0 stars with little in between. Something like that has to be worth watching I think.
